Jennifer Carroll wedding and lifestyle photographer

Hi there! My name is Jennifer Carroll. I’m a former fashion model, wedding and event planner (with more than 25 years of experience), as well as a blogger and publisher turned photographer. Phew! It’s been a delightfully winding road that has brought me from being in front of the camera to behind it; from planning weddings to capturing them on camera… I didn’t know how much the art of photography meant to me until I began my own blog and online magazine and took the time to learn how to take my own photos out of necessity. But once I started clicking, I was hooked! And hated to put the camera down. Now, I have the privilege of taking pictures which help your memories to last a lifetime all while making a living for my daughter and myself! A dream job to be sure!

As a designer my work has been featured in Southern Living, Martha Stewart Weddings, Southern Living Weddings, Victoria, Southern Lady, The Knot, Weddings Unveiled, Style Me Pretty.com, The Huffington Post.com, and many, many more magazines and websites.

I have photographed products for corporate clients including The Home Depot, Rubbermaid, TIKI BRAND, Sargento Cheese, and Stella Artois to name a few.

My portrait work has also granted me the privilege of photographing New York Times bestselling author James Ellroy for his latest page turner Perfidia: A Novel (Knopf/Random House 2014).

I have lived and worked in New York City and Los Angeles but Charlottesville, Virginia has always been my hometown. I’m delighted to live here again and raise my daughter in this spectacularly beautiful corner of the world.

Whether you are searching for a portrait photographer, or someone to capture a special family celebration, placing your home on the market and want it to look its best, or you are a company who needs a fresh eye for your products to stand out, I’d love to chat with you! Please click the “contact” button at the top of this page to get in touch.

I look forward to chatting soon!

Jennifer
